Recruit was originally founded as Daigaku Shinbun Kokoku-sha in Mar. 1960. On Oct. 1, 2012, the company changed its name from Recruit Co., Ltd. to its present-day name of Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd.

Shareholders as of the end of September and the end of March are eligible to receive interim and fiscal year-end dividends, respectively. It takes 3 business days to become a shareholder of record listed in the shareholders' registry.
