Recruitment background Recruit Group's expanding business and corresponding growth as a global company have created an increasing need for more accounting and M&A specialists and the added value they can provide. We are seeking colleagues that can support Recruit's growth in the accounting field and lead the organization by handling consolidated financial statements and accounting governance.
Job description

The global accounting team is responsible for global accounting, governance and M&A support for all of Recruit Group, including overseas, as follows:

As an example HR work can include, but is not limited to the following:

  • IFRS consolidated financial statements of over three hundred Group companies in Japan and overseas
  • Recruit Holdings' non-consolidated financial statements and tax services, based on Japanese standards
  • Creating the annual report/short-term reports/voluntary disclosure materials
  • Developing accounting coverage in the company's SBUs and designing and implementing consolidated accounting infrastructure
  • Formulating IFRS accounting policy (new standards, etc.)
  • Accounting planning and risk presentation in domestic and overseas M&A as well as organizational restructuring
  • PMI accounting support due to expansion of overseas Group companies through M&A
  • Management reporting to executives and board members

Requirements

REQUIRED
Those who fall under any either of the following two categories;

DESIRED

  • Those who have experience with US GAAP / IFRS
  • Experience in accounting policy / disclosure policy planning
  • Those who have a strong interest / intention in accounting governance
  • PMI experience of overseas M&A
  • Those who have experience in designing and constructing consolidated settlement process / infrastructure (including introduction support)
  • Those who can promote and propose projects with a strong will to finance x DX
  • Those who want to gain a wide range of experience as corporate staff using accounting skills without sticking to the rigid structure of "accounting."
    *You can also start a career as a management staff of other corporate departments (finance, IR, investment department) or each operating company.
    *Those who want to strengthen the group consolidated accounting system in an environment with a sense of speed, freedom, and flexibility.

Salary

Estimated annual income: 6,744,042 to 9,042,424 yen
Wage format: Monthly salary (including fixed overtime pay)

  • Total amount: 418,593 to 560,837 yen
  • Base salary: 324,072 to 434,196 yen
  • Grade allowance: 94,521 to 126,641 yen
  • * Thirty-five (35) hours of fixed overtime will be paid as a grade allowance regardless of overtime work.
    * Overtime allowance: Additional overtime allowance is paid.
    * Assessed twice a year

*The standard number of working hours per day is eight (8), but the time to begin and finish work is according to the role and to the discretion of each individual.
