Recruit-CSIRT, which is mainly operated by Recruit Technologies, has been awarded the 2018 "Cybersecurity Encouragement Prizes of Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications."
Seiko Noda, Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, presented the award to Akiteru Kamoshida, the representative of Recruit-CSIRT.
About Cybersecurity Encouragement Prizes of Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications
In order to promote the improvement of cyber security and enhance the security awareness of organizations and society, Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications office invited individuals and groups who have made outstanding cybersecurity achievements in their field of cybersecurity and are expected to play an active role in the future to receive the prestigious award based on their achievements.
Initiatives of Recruit-CSIRT
Recruit-CSIRT is the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) of the Recruit Group, providing technical services in a wide range of business domains, including sales promotion media, human resources media, and temporary staffing businesses. Active since April 2015, Recruit-CSIRT assists in security incident responses to the Recruit Group companies, monitors the security of the Group's common infrastructure, and promotes measures to improve security during normal times.

Recruit-CSIRT was recognized for its contribution to improving cybersecurity in the private sector by widely sharing its knowledge and experience with the general public.
