    Jul 16, 2019 | Indeed

Software giant Adobe ranks #1 on this year’s list of top-rated workplaces in the Fortune 500

AUSTIN, TX (July 16, 2019) – ITo an external sitendeedTo an external site, the world’s number one job site, debuted today the 50 top-rated workplaces in 2019, curated from over 150 million ratings and reviews on Indeed Company Pages. Multinational computer software giant Adobe made its debut on Indeed’s list for the first time this year and claimed the number one spot. Global social media network Facebook landed the second place ranking, with Southwest Airlines in third place.

“These 50 organizations represent a very diverse list of exceptional workplaces, which tells us that being a great place to work has nothing to do with the sector, geography, or age of a company,” said Indeed SVP, Paul D’Arcy. “Each of these companies have shown the importance of valuing their teams’ specific needs to create a desirable and productive work environment. Being a champion for your employees is a choice, and we at Indeed think it is important to recognize these companies for choosing to implement great workplace programs for their teams.”

This year’s top-rated workplace, Adobe, is praised by employees for its “top-notch” benefits, “amazing people”, “inspiring” CEO, and “strong company values”. Many reviewers describe the working environment at Adobe as inclusive, educational, supportive, and engaging, with plenty of opportunities for growth within the company.

New to the top ten, Live Nation – ranked #13 on last year’s list curated by Indeed – jumped up to take the #4 ranking this year. Similarly, eBay moved up from last year’s #15 ranking to #8 for 2019. Newcomers make up almost one-third of this year’s list, with companies like Intuit (#5), Southern Company (#26), NextEra Energy (#27), Land O’Lakes (#29), and Motorola Solutions (#30) making their debut as one of Indeed’s Top-Rated Workplaces in 2019.
