Today, several news articles have reported that Recruit Co., Ltd., an intermediate holding company of Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd and MUFG Bank, Ltd. are to form a joint venture to develop plans for and establish new businesses related to financial services. While the companies have indeed signed an agreement to form a joint venture, the exact details are currently still under consideration.
