Recruit Holdings Announces Changes in Group Governance Structure

Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. (TSE: 6098) (the “Company”) announced today that it has decided to implement changes in its SBU (“Strategic Business Unit”) governance structure, aiming from April 1, 2025.

Starting in FY2025, the fiscal year ending March 2026, the Company is taking yet another step forward to accelerate the progress in achieving its “Simplify Hiring” strategy by bringing together HR Technology SBU and HR Solutions business of Matching & Solutions SBU, which will be operated together under HR Technology SBU.

As part of the new governance structure, the Company has decided to transfer its HR Solutions business, currently operated under Matching & Solutions SBU, to two new subsidiaries to be established. Both subsidiaries will be operated as part of HR Technology SBU. The transfer is targeted for April 1, 2025.

The new subsidiaries will be:

  1. Indeed Recruit Partners Co., Ltd.
    Agency function for HR media business and HR placement business

  2. Indeed Recruit Technologies Co., Ltd.
    Service development function for the HR related businesses

Collaboration between HR Technology SBU and HR Solutions business has already been underway. For example, since January 2024, Japan, which is ranked as the second-largest market globally for HR matching following the United States, has seen the launch of Indeed PLUS, a new job distribution platform that helps job seekers more easily discover open roles and get matched to hiring employers.

Through these works, the Company strives toward its basic principle of "Creating new value for society to contribute to a brighter world where all individuals can live life to the fullest."

In parallel, Matching & Solutions SBU will continue its focus on Marketing Solutions business, including SaaS, and work towards advancing its business strategy, “Help Businesses Work Smarter".
