Hisayuki Idekoba, Representative Director, President and CEO of Recruit Holdings (“the Company”), as well as the Head of HR Technology Business, has also taken a role as President and CEO of Indeed, Inc. from June 2, 2025, US time.

Idekoba led the acquisition of Indeed, Inc. in 2012, served as its Chairman, President and CEO from 2013 to 2019, and he currently serves as a Board Director for Indeed, Inc.

Idekoba has been leading Recruit Group with a proven track record of building two-sided marketplaces in the global HR matching market, and delivering technology-driven solutions that make life easier and more convenient for job seekers and employers. As meaningful technological change accelerates, Idekoba will drive new innovations under his direct leadership by fusing Recruit Group’s experience and expertise with the power of AI.

Chris Hyams, CEO of Indeed, Inc. since April 2019, has decided to step down. Hyams will remain on as an advisor through the end of 2025.
