Sustainalytics, a Morningstar Company, is a leading ESG research, ratings and data firm. Recruit Holdings has been identified as a top regional ESG performer out of more than 4,000 global companies.

Recognized as “Leadership” level (“A-” score) in CDP 2021 Climate Change Assessment

CDP is a non-governmental organisation (NGO) with around 20 years of history. CDP requests information on climate risks and low carbon opportunities from the world’s largest companies, on behalf of 590 institutional investor signatories with a combined US$110 trillion in assets.

In the CDP Climate Change 2021 report, CDP surveyed more than 14,000 companies and organisations around the world on their performance on climate change response and strategy, to assess them among eight levels: Leadership (A/A-), Management (B/B-), Awareness (C/C-), and Disclosure (D/D-). In 2021, Recruit Holdings was recognized as Leadership level ("A -" score).

FY2021 Integrated Report selected as "Outstanding Integrated Report" by GPIF’s Japanese equity managers

The Government Pension Investment Fund (GPIF) of Japan asked 17 external asset managers entrusted with Japanese equity investment to each nominate up to 10 excellent integrated reports. Those reports named excellent by four or more external asset managers were selected as "Outstanding Integrated Reports." Recruit Holdings' 2020 Annual Report received the comments below.

Recruit Holdings' 2018 Annual Report Received Bronze in the ARC award hosted by MerComm, Inc in the United States.

The ARC Award is one of the world's largest annual report competitions, and annual reports are scored using the criteria, Cover Design, Chairman's Letter, Writing, Interior Design, Financial Presentation, and Overall. The top 30% scoring annual reports won Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honors Awards. Recruit Holdings has won Bronze.

Recruit Holdings has won a prize at the Global SDG Awards, designed to increase private sector engagement with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals

At the Global SDG Awards held in Toronto, Canada, Recruit Group won a prize in the category "SDG10 Reduced Inequalities" for its Ribbon Model, which creates SDG domino effects (placing SDG 10 at the core of the business while also contributing to other SDG goals).

Recruit Holdings

Recruit Holdings selected for the 2018 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index.

On January 22, 2018, Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd. was selected for the 2018 Gender-Equality Index which was announced by Bloomberg. A total of 104 companies including Recruit Holdings were selected from around the world, among which were six Japanese companies.

Recruit Holdings selected for two ESG indices announced by GPIF.

Recruit Holdings was selected for two ESG indices which were announced by GPIF (Government Pension Investment Fund) on July 3, 2017. One of the two ESG indices is MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index, which was developed by MSCI, a U.S. financial research company, and is composed of companies in the MSCI Japan IMI Top 500 Index selected for their high ESG rating. And the other index is MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index (WIN) which was also developed by MSCI, and consists of companies in the MSCI Japan IMI Top 500 Index selected for their high percentages of female managers and women hired.

Recruit Holdings received the New Office Promotion Award of The 30th Nikkei New Office Awards.

We received the award in recognition of our intensive efforts to accelerate the creation of innovation by promoting remote working and enhancing office quality through work style reforms, and for accelerating the creation of innovation through refreshing oneself by creating various types of workplace in free address work spaces to encourage changes in posture and mind.

In 2017, Peoplebank received the award for Best Recruitment Company to Work For at the Recruitment International Awards. The Company was recognized for its investment in staff development, including its online learning platform available to all staff and its training program for developing leadership skills.

FY2016

Recruit Holdings

Recruit Holdings was awarded the Corporate Award Advanced Division Grand Prize of the J-Win Diversity Awards for the third time.

The J-Win Diversity Award seeks to accelerate diversity and inclusion in companies by recognizing the efforts of companies that are leading the way in this field. Recruit Holdings was awarded the Corporate Award Advanced Division Grand Prize for the third time in March 2017. We were recognized for our measures for diversity that included initiatives for promoting active participation of women and work style innovation, as well as efforts that look beyond gender issues.

Honki no Shushoku program was awarded the Young People's Support Prize of the Japan Partnership Award.

The Japan Partnership Award recognizes distinctive collaborative projects between unique companies and NPOs that have made an impact on society. Our free job-finding support program for young people, Honki no Shushoku, received the Young People's Support Prize in March 2017. We received the award in recognition of our collaboration with the NPO Support Station, which is a gathering point for young people searching for jobs.

Staffmark was awarded the Best of Staffing Client Award for the sixth year in a row, and also won the Best of Staffing Talent Award.

Staffmark won the Best of Staffing Client Award for the sixth year in a row as a company which provides outstanding services to its clients and temporary/contract employees, and was also awarded the Best of Staffing Talent Award. To recognize six years of success, Staffmark received the Client Diamond Award.

Peoplebank

Peoplebank was awarded for a fifth consecutive year by the Workplace Gender Equality Agency.

The Company won the award for a fifth consecutive year (2012-2016) by Workplace Gender Equality Agency, an Australian government agency, in recognition of the workplace in which gender equal opportunity is promoted.
