Recruit Group has set up a Sustainability Committee to serve as an advisory body to the Board of Directors and, aided by advice from outside experts, to discuss the promotion of sustainability initiatives within Recruit Group.
In October and February of Fiscal 2018, committee meetings were held twice to discuss the Sustainability themes that Recruit Group should work on from Fiscal 2019. The objective of the meetings is to fulfill the expectations and demands of society through an approach that is unique to Recruit Group, based on its business environment and business domains, as a means to adapt to the changing world as a global organization.
In the meetings, we discussed how we will respond to sustainability agendas that are being discussed internationally.
We were able to learn and gain many insights, receiving frank and honest opinions and requests for how we can continue to be a company that is needed by society. We will continue to set up meetings for discussions with outside input.
