Recruit was originally founded as Daigaku Shinbun Kokoku-sha in Mar. 1960. On Oct. 1, 2012, the company changed its name from Recruit Co., Ltd. to its present-day name of Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd.

There are three methods for receiving dividend payments: 1.Receive at the designated bank account appointed by a shareholder 2.Receive at the brokerage account appointed by a shareholder 3.Receive in cash at the Post office/Japan Post Bank teller window by exchanging with dividend voucher post mailed from Recruit. Shareholders as of the end of September and the end of March are eligible to receive interim and fiscal year-end dividends, respectively. It takes 3 business days to become a shareholder of record listed in the shareholders' registry.
