When was Recruit established?
Recruit was originally founded as Daigaku Shinbun Kokoku-sha in Mar. 1960. On Oct. 1, 2012, the company changed its name from Recruit Co., Ltd. to its present-day name of Recruit Holdings Co., Ltd.

Recruit became a publicly traded company on Oct. 16, 2014 at 3,100 yen per share, which is equivalent to 1,033 yen per share due to a 3-for-1 stock split in July 2017.

How do I receive dividends?
There are three methods for receiving dividend payments: 1.Receive at the designated bank account appointed by a shareholder 2.Receive at the brokerage account appointed by a shareholder 3.Receive in cash at the Post office/Japan Post Bank teller window by exchanging with dividend voucher post mailed from Recruit. When do I need to become a registered shareholder in order to receive dividends?
Shareholders as of the end of September and the end of March are eligible to receive interim and fiscal year-end dividends, respectively. It takes 3 business days to become a shareholder of record listed in the shareholders' registry.
