Job description

There are two broad roles within the department. We are currently looking for colleagues for 2. below.

  • Front = investment strategy formulation, sourcing, business DD, counterpart of communication with investment destinations / investment candidates, business development after investment, etc.
  • Middle back = other than the above

Role details (using both Japanese and English)

  • Project management from due diligence to investment execution
  • Treasury and risk due diligence
  • Portfolio management (monitoring, exit, etc.)
  • Fund operations (fund management, performance management, etc.)
  • CVC organization operation (income and expenditure management and other general operations)
  • Driving evolution in general CVC activities

  • More than 3 years of experience in corporate planning / business planning (or an investment department) of a commercial company


  • Business-level English proficiency (level where meetings in English are not a problem)
  • You can think for yourself, set issues, and drive change while building consensus.
  • Global communication and collaboration

  • Strong interest in startup investment (no work experience required)

Estimated annual income: 9,042,424 to 11,637,153 yen
Wage format: Monthly salary (including fixed overtime pay)

  • Total amount: 560,837 to 721,807 yen
  • Base salary: 434,196 to 558,818 yen
  • Grade allowance: 126,641 to 162,989 yen
  • * Thirty-five (35) hours of fixed overtime will be paid as a grade allowance regardless of overtime work.
    * Overtime allowance: Additional overtime allowance is paid.
    * Assessed twice a year

*The standard number of working hours per day is eight (8), but the time to begin and finish work is according to the role and to the discretion of each individual.
